Fitness Log: Week of August 1, 2011

Pushed myself too hard on Monday after the Sunday long walk to Niles, so adjusted most of the week to rest, recover and prepare for the Yosemite trip.

Monday, 08/01

  • Gym at lunch (treadmill intervals, 28 min.; leg presses/heel lifts, 3 sets of 16, 160 lbs.; bench press/shoulder pulls, 3 sets of 16, 40 lbs.)
  • Afternoon walk (~5 miles, 120 min.)

Tuesday, 08/02

  • Afternoon walk (~3 miles, 60 min.)

Wednesday, 08/03

  • Rock climbing (5 attempts 5.6 routes, 3 completions, 90+ minutes)

Wednesday, 08/03

  • Rock climbing (5 attempts 5.6 routes, 3 completions, 90+ minutes)

Thursday, 08/04 through Sunday, 08/06 – Yosemite

  • Rock climbing (Puppy Dome and Kitty Dome, Hurricane Ridge)
  • Hiking (Elizabeth Lake, Soda Springs)
  • Kayaking (Tenaya Lake)
